What is a CSA?

A CSA is Community Supported Agriculture, where customers purchase a share ahead of crop season, to help the farm purchase seeds, bulbs, compost, and other growing materials, as well as pay for farm labor, and in return you, the investor, receive your portion of the harvest weekly, or biweekly, and is picked up at the farm or another designated pickup location.

  • You purchase your share now, we plant the seeds and/or bulbs, the flowers bloom, we cut them, we help you arrange them into bouquet, or we arrange them for you, you pick them up at your weekly or biweekly scheduled time.

  • As with any investment there are risks, and with Mother Nature not being 100% predictable, there is a chance crops get ruined by pests or bad weather. We do our best to supplement from other farms if we can but sometimes we can’t. In this case there are no refunds, so this is a risk you assume when investing in CSAs.

  • We are located in North Grosvenordale, CT. The exact pickup address is emailed to you upon paying for your CSA subscription.
